Chapter 1
The Reader’s Club, as usual, were discussing the upcoming interdepartmental competition that is going to be held in a few days. “I haven’t seen a guy from other departments since the day I came here!” Akhira let out a. “Even I don’t know, and I guess it’s because we never thought of that. But this time we are going to see them, and they will see us!” Naina replied. “I want no one as long as he is worthy of my eyesight!” Ritika said, and they burst out in laughter.
The forms had arrived, and the students were filling them out. While the three were still in doubt about their forms, They chose ten similar competitions for participation and submitted the form with the hope that this event might bring some adventurousness.
The first sports competition was out of their league, and in the scorching heat, one of them is on the verge of faint. But still, they participated in indoor games, but they faced bad luck. The next game was Extempore, and they were quite confident that they would do well, but the on-the-spot topics were too challenging, but they did a good job. As they were moving out from the hall, they heard the faint strains of someone playing a guitar, accompanied by humming and singing. Curiosity piqued, but they brushed off the noises. Focusing instead on their upcoming competitions, confident that no department can outmatch them.
Little did they know, lurking in the shadows, someone had taken notice of their presence and was observing their move with keen interest, their intentions shrouded in mystery.
